Immigration Judicial Reviews in the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber): an analysis of statistical data

This blog post analyses statistical data concerning immigration judicial reviews since their transfer to the UTIAC. It finds that the number and proportion of claims certified as Totally Without Merit has increased. It also finds that the length of time claims take to get to a substantive hearing has increased considerably. There is a discussion about caseload, resources, and judicial behaviour.
